Name: Sabaku no Gaara

Age: 12

Character Description:

Commonly associated with blood, Sabaku no Gaara is a terrifying sight to everyone in Suna, including his family. Shuukaku, one of the tailed demons, was sealed inside him before Gaara was even born. This has led to severe psychological and emotional trauma- as well as severe consequences if he falls asleep.

Gaara is reserved at most times, but grows bloodthirsty at the sight and smell of blood. He believes he isn't human and that only he and his 'mother', his sand, loves him. He is the son of the current Kazekage and the youngest of three siblings.

Short in stature and thin in built, Gaara's strength lies in his massive yet erratic chakra. The only strong part of him is his back because of the gourd he carries around. Some of his most striking features are the dark rings of insomnia around his eyes, hairless brows, and the tattoo of "Love" on his upper left forehead.
